He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2002.

The same year enter the Specialty of Vascular Surgery at Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki where he trained in General Surgery up to 2005.

From October 2005 to June 2008 he trained in UK at Ealing and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial NHS Trust). At these hospitals had the opportunity to deal with gene therapy for peripheral arterial disease, to be trained in foam sclerotherapy and laser treatment for varicose veins the open and the endovascular surgery in all the aspects of the specialty of vascular surgery.

In 2008 he returned to Thessaloniki to finish the Specialty at Hippokration Hospital.

In March 2010 he defended successfully with distinction his PhD Thesis.

On October 2010 passed successfully the final exams of the Specialty of the Vascular Surgery.

From November 2010 to September 2011 he work in private practice and trained in endovascular surgery in Blue Cross (Kyanos Stavros) Euromedical Cardiovascular Surgery center in Thessaloniki.

He is a member of the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom, member of the European Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery member of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK, and member of Thessaloniki Medical Association. He is also a member and elected treasurer of the Cyprus Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
